Each year, the US Department of State Diversity Visa (DV) Lottery Program makes 50,000 immigrant visas
(also known as Green Card) available through a lottery.
The eligible countries are ones that have low rates of immigration to the United States.

If you receive a visa through the Diversity Visa Program 2013
you will be authorized to live and work permanently in the United States.
You will also be allowed to bring your spouse and any
unmarried children under the age of 21 to the United States.
A Green Card is a legal document which provides you with US permanent residence status.
You will be entitled to all the benefits a US citizen has such as:
working, owning property, studying and living in the USA.
