DV Lottery 2009 Results.
DV 2009 results will be sent to the selected winners along with further information by regular postal mail (Surface Mail). Take note E-Mail, Fax or phone will not be used to announce the winners.
Winning notification will contain the information, how to fill the attached forms, Diversity visa processing fee and where to send the filled forms with photos. Selected winner's addresses which are in the online entry forms will be used to send the postal mail between May to the last week of July 2008.
Those who don't get notification within this period must consider that they didn't win the Visa Lottery. And can prepare them to apply for the next coming lottery.

Being selected as a winner in the diversity visa lottery does not guarantee that you will be issued with a visa, even if you are qualified. There are many more things to be verified from you and you have to face an interview before they issue you the immigrant visa.


KCC will select winners greater than the number of immigrant visas available. For example they have 50,000 visas and they may select 100,000. This is because that all the selected winners may not be qualified for the visa or will not able to complete the processing. And mostly they select winners for further interview from the first received DSS application forms.

Once all the 50,000 visas have been issued, the diversity visa program for the year will end; normally visas for the DV Lottery 2009 will not be issued after September 30, 2008

Latest information:
The dv lottery 2009resultsare being sent to the winners who are selected by the computer random draw. Those notifications are sent to the selected winners with further instruction and related visa fee through normal postal mail. They are coming in batches and will continue till the month of July 2008. The addresses which were entered in the last year entry form will be used as the mailing address.

Take note that E-Mails, Fax or Telephone will not be used to inform the winners. If you get any double check them and if you find them as fake inform to the relevant authorities with out delay.

Finally winning the lottery doesn’t guarantee you a visa; it will allow you to apply for a visa where you will process it as a normal visa application.
If you are a winner and not eligible for the visa, don't proceed further.

DV Lottery 2009 Results are being announced by the the Kentucky Consular Center in Williamsburg,
Kentucky. There are 50,000 visas available for this program under the Diversity Visa 2009 program.
In the year more than 9,100,000 people applied through the state department web site. The computer selected nearly 99,600 winners and they were notified as winners and they can apply for an immigrant visa. Those 50,000 winners who meet the legibility will be issued with visas from October 2008 to 30th September 2009.
Winners who are in the USA legally may contact the USICS to change their status; it must be done within this period.

DV 2011 lottery apply Form

DV 2011, Diversity visa lottery which is also called as green card lottery is administrated by the US State Department. This program is conducted to the request of the US Goverment to issue 50,000 Permanant resident Visas to people from countries which sends less people legally to the USA. The program is governed by simple but strict law where the participants must meet the required eligibility.

DV lottery 2011 is expected to accepts entries from eligible people for a period of 60 days in the year 2009 through the American Goverment's one and only online web site. Results will be announced to winners in the year 2010 when the computer random draw selects the winners.

Winners who get the winning notification or the second letter does not guarnteed that they will be issued with visas. They will face a interview by paying a non refundable visa fee and diversity processing fee of US$755 at the US Embassy. Visas will be issued from October 2009 to 30th September 2010.

Current visa lottery programe is DV 2010 which will be held October 2008 to 1st December 2008.

DV 2010 Results.
DV 2010 results will be sent to the selected people between May and July 2009. The package will also have further instructions along with the relatd visa fees. Those who are not selected will not notified.

For all those people who have applied for the DV 2010, must have their confirmation receipt which they got when they submitted their E-DV entry. In the confirmation there will be a unique number which will help you to verify your status as whether you are selectd or not in the official dv lottery web site. This will be available from July 1, 2009, until June 30, 2010. Those who are applying for the dv 2010 must take care to keep the cofirmation copy as it will not be reissued.

No e-mail, fax or telephone will be used to announce the winners.

The visa fees should be paid only to the US Consular office on the day of the interview.

Don't send money by post, westernunion or other means to get the visa.
