DV 2012 results will be available in the internet from July 15th onward after the new name selection once again from the submitted entries as there was an error happened in the results that were checked by thousands of people. from May 1st till May 6th. All those results are void and all the applicants must check their status once again with their earlier provided confirmation numbers.

DV 2012 Results will close on 30/06/2012. This is the same web site where you have submitted your visa lottery entry last year. This time for the program there will be no postal mail announcement from the KCC for those winners as was before. Also phones, fax and emails will not be used to announce the selected winners who were selected for the program by the State Department or KCC. If you had lost your DV 2012 confirmation number it won't be re-issued to you.

So for the DV 2012, there is only one way to see whether you are selected for the program or not and that is only in the online web site.

In the month of July there will be a big rush to check the results online as millions of people will try to look for their online status. This may cause the web site to respond slower or may display with the following notice as service unavailable. If you get a message like "Session Expired." in the middle of checking your result, start the process once again.

DV 2011 diversity visa lottery program results were sent by regular postal mail to those randomly selected winners.
Nearly 12.6 million eligible entries were submitted for the program and from those entries nearly 100,600 people were selected to apply for the available 50,000 immigrant visas. This notification process lasted till the end of July 2010.
